Day 57 – Went to watch the Geeling v Hawthorn game at the MCG – more about the MCG tomorrow.
Sadly, Geelong lost by 1 point. Geelong 117 Hawthorn 118.
Took the MCG Tour today (click for external link). Got to the MCG around midday, and was met by a blzer clad elder tour guide who showed around the stadium. This covered the ground from the top tier, to the basement cricket training nets, on to the hallowed member rooms, training rooms and changing rooms.
After our 75min trip around the MCG, we under the MCG to the National Sports Museum (click for external link). This is an ongoing history museum that documents and catalogues the histopric achievments of most of Australia’s international and national sports.
After the museum tour, we headed into Melbourne for some coffee and cake. There is no better place to go than the Brunetti Cafe (click for external link). After C&C, we met up with the Uni Student and Mum in Swan Street Richmond for more drinks.
We prised ourself out of the Swan Street and headed for our last meal in Richmond. This is an earlier visited Korean restaurant called NODA (click for external link).
